Roadrunner Drive-In, Route 66, Vega, TX At the heart and geographic center of Route 66, Vega was originally founded 1903. The railroad helped the town flourish until Route 66 and the popularization of the automobile brought tourist courts, cafes and gas stations to the town. The Roadrunner Drive-in was one business that suffered once the modern interstate bypassed the town. Limitied edition. |
